We pride ourselves on our connection and commitment to our local community. Our work goes far beyond our own campus, as we collaborate with nearby primary and secondary schools to extend our outreach provision.
Embedded in our School’s ethos is a ‘culture of philanthropy’
The Foundation combines education, community and philanthropy, with the community donating time, money, and expertise to improve facilities and broaden opportunities for local children and also local and national charities.
Pocklington School Foundation contributes to the academic and co-curricular development of children in the local area. We host educational and sporting events, offer staff training and equipment, share educational strategies and provide access to specialist workshops. In addition, our facilities are available to hire at subsidised rates to host local school and community events.
Supporting talented children to attend Pocklington School is central to our mission and ethos. We believe that finances should not prevent promising children from pursuing their aspirations. Pocklington has a long tradition of providing bursarial and fee assistance to support families with limited means.
